A bespoke oak-frame venue designed for year-round celebrations. The owners of this venue sought out Carpenter Oak to provide them with a timeless oak frame barn. Replacing a temporary wedding marquee, this building consists of three linked areas - an entrance hall, a ceremonial room and a wedding reception room, which combine to create a beautiful venue. Nancarrow Wedding Barn (Cornwall)
Nancarrow uses medieval tithe barn design to create memorable weddings in the idyllic Cornish countryside. Rackley’s Barn (Chiltern Hills, Buckinghamshire)
A converted barn that celebrates the original oak structure, Rackley’s Barn is truly a destination venue. Carpenter Oak were approached to help redevelop this flexible event venue which required a new oak frame to be carefully installed through a maze of scaffolding and the existing oak structure. We also built new oak extensions on all four sides of the main barn. Read more about this project.

Syrencot Wedding Barn (Salisbury, Wiltshire)
Syrencot’s engineered timber highlights how modern design works beautifully for venues. Built on the estate of a Grade II-listed Georgian country house, Syrencot was designed as a modern contemporary space in juxtaposition to the Georgian house. For the large span and length of the bays white spruce glulam and larch glulam along with steel connections were used as the engineering solutions for this unique wedding barn. Sandburn Hall (North Yorkshire)
Sandburn Hall blends grandeur and oak-framed charm for large celebrations. Carpenter Oak installed the large handcrafted oak frame with traditional sling brace trusses to the upper floor.
